Hippo Toy and Captcha

Mark read today that Google Blogger is now requiring TWO captchas (image verification stuff) to make a comment to a post. SHEESH! How hard do they have to make it to read blogs anymore?

The other day at the fabric counter I bought a bolt of nice grey cloth. I was thinking elephants. Mark suggested hippos or rhinos. We were talking about a hippo mouth (kind of like the dragon) full of big flat teeth. Today I was over at Two Little Banshees and she is talking ab out making a hippo as well. It got me to sketching tonight about how to do that open mouth... all those teeth showing interest me :) Here is what I came up with.

Great Idea.
The sketches look cool.
Good luck with the assembling.

Awww... I looove hippoes.. there is something so ironic in toy and cartoon hippoes.. maybe it is the blunt teeth that don't look menacing.. makes them look like they would give these cute wet raspberry kisses.. I also love the ballerina hippos that are so common because when you see the live ones they really do dance! Its beautiful! I have a real connection to them because when I am in my element I can be graceful, but outside of that watch out.. I am frumpy, and aggressive :)

Phyllistene: Hi again! :) Glad you like the hippo drawings. Like the dragon for some reason they don't look that ferocious.. but they try, which is cute. Like the tyrranosaurus in Toy Story ;) Hmm, making one of these a ballerina? I wonder how hard it would be to make square ballet slippers?
