A Tiny World under Our Feet

We were at the bus stop early this morning and Esme pointed out these little plants to me - they are in their own tiny landscape.  I went back up after a few hours to grab pictures of the sun streaking through their leaves and the grasses.

That's my girl - looking tiny at the world around her, observant, noticing things others wouldn't.

I did some work in the garden, too - readied the pots on the side to be planted and planted kale, arugula, radishes, purslane, purple basil and a couple of bean seeds (the ground is still kind of cold.. but I was willing to try a few out of the Provider saved seed I had.)

I am hoping to plant onions in the prepared pots tomorrow or the next day - they have to drain some now first.
