It is snowing today in TN, which means everyone is out at the store, whether they need anything or not (I saw that in an email). And, being born-and-raised Minnesotans, we came to work -- although we did have to wait a few hours to pick up our vehicle from the repairman (see below).
He showed us a windshield-wiper jug full of some of the fuel he took from our gas tank. About 1/4 inch of it, at the top, was actual fuel. The rest he described as 'water and sludge.' Fun Fun. But our truck runs, and kudos to him for performing that (expensive) miracle.
Still knitting dishcloths, but watching a few Knitting Olympians as they begin ;o)

Aw, Sparky. :(
Dang, so now that you have really bad gas in hand - what are your options?!
Thanks for the well wishes! I'm about to finish the hem bit on my sweater!
Chaos knows something is up and is cranky.
Pretty much put new fuel in, from a different place, and hope it NEVER happens again! *sigh*
**applause for your sweater** Will Chaos play with any of his tail-less mice while you knit? Moving targets (aka knitting needles) are always better to chase though ;o)
hello rhelynn....
thanks for your kind comment on my blog and for stopping by!
sparky is adorable!
Chaos is happy that I'm home and is waiting for me to make a lap and start knitting. He'll be fine with the sweater - it's on a single circular. Now, socks are different - I knit 'em on two circs, so there's always that tempting needle dangling...
Was the evil gas station one from a chain or sort of a "singleton"?
I've never seen this 'chain' until we came to Tennessee. It was named after a 1994 movie with Mel Gibson starring as a gambler in the old west. I'm sure you can get the name from that ;o)
Oooooo! PHC is coming on! **cheers**
