Fur-sitting

I'm up and about, a bit... we are fur-sitting for our boss while he is on an overnight equipment-run. His twelve-year-old dog Rascal has a swollen ear, and needs someone to watch her on the steps when she goes outside. Hopefully things will be getting better this week, all around -- we have our fingers crossed for it. I've been telecommuting some of my work, knitting and watching movies to pass the time.

The girls absolutely love the toys Lynn made! They were having a raucous run through the house this morning with the curly rattle one and 'helping' Mr.J put away the laundry for me (by hopping in and out of the drawers and investigating the water going into the washer)

I'm not allowed to have any coffee :o( or tea, or anything that has caffeine... that is going to be hard!

In Other News: My Prototyping article was featured in Craftzine! Thanks Craftzine!

Congrats on the Craftzine feature!!

Hope you're feeling better. The caffeine thing would be really rough for me.

Congratulations on the Craftzine article!

You can't have caffeine? Why not? And I hope I don't ever get that.

Hope Rascal feels better soon too.

Oh Geeze that really sounds crappy. A weekend without caffeine! I am glad they like the toys. Amber basically gave me the jiggling noice criteria, and then I just tried to make it happen with some basic knitting principles.
I spend a good part of the evening downloading the Remembrance day videos into YouTube and then the blog. Went out for a little bit with Son Cam to look at monitors cuz mine has lost its yellow. Absolutely necessary if editing digital photos!
Of course we detoured to the mall and Cam bought a new black baseball cap and I got some cute things "maple leaf" at one of the shops. Then I dragged the poor boy to the yard department of Zellers to see what they had there. Sunday is another PSICAN investigation. One each week! Very rare.

We had season 3 of the Dead Zone tv-series and the first disc of Night Gallery (the old tv series with Rod Serling) yesterday. Also, 'Always', 'Mercury Rising', 'Summer School' and 'The Untouchables' on loan from the boss. Mr.J might go out and rent one tonight, not sure what though.
