The Snow has Hit

Today's weather warning reads: (Those of you from/in more Northern climates may get a giggle out of the last part) A SNOW ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT. A SECOND ROUND OF SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS EVENING. TOTAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS WITH THIS SECOND WAVE OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE. A SNOW ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.

We've been listening to some radio traffice as well, and it sounds like people aren't handling the icy conditions well! *eek*

There is ice down at the lake

And bird tracks in the snow

Puck asks DeeDee to clean the snow off her moustache.

Making some progress on the purple weaving...

We don't get a lot of snow here so I'm always amazed to see snow. I love the picture of the bird prints :)

Hope you're nice and warm and toasty!

The snow completely missed my parents. My mom was disappointed, she wanted to miss work!

I so hate snow....

I'm glad to hear that you are doing so well, though my hearts aches for how much you must miss the girls. I only know how I'd feel if terrible circumstances forced me to leave my furry children behind.

I wish you every happiness.

I think the folks in Colorado would be particularly amused!
