Mr.J's hospital pictures

Thanks everyone for your kind words, thoughts and well wishes. We both really appreciate all of you! Mr.J asked me to bring the camera and take just a few 'before & after' photos for him.

Before the Surgery
We got there at 11 am, and had a very long wait.
He got to go home at 6:30 pm.

Before the Surgery
with temporary cast and fingers taped together.

After surgery

After surgery

He says the bones already feel more stable, which does help - but the pain is actually more with the incision. The doctor wants to see him again next week to check the incision.

More later, thank you again everyone.

I'm glad it went well and that it's over!! Hmm, are you sure it isn't just a ploy to spend time hanging out at home with the girls?? ;)

Sending plenty of healing thoughts your way. You both take care.

Wow!
The fingers look good. I expected more swelling.
I hope he is in less pain on the weekend.
I think you need a care package!

Bless his heart! I'm so glad things went well and that he heals up nice a quick. You could knit a little cover for that cast thingy. I'm just sayin.

Glad he did so well! (Can you tell I'm playing blog catch up after a fun but grueling weekend?). Poor guy, though pain killers rock. I had lots of great naps on them!
