We can't believe it. We thought our yellow tom cat died ages ago. He's been gone at least six months and we were considering getting another tom to replace him.
But he came back the other night, just as if he'd never been gone. And he's been back for the past few mornings yeowling for food on the front porch the same as always. Besides being a little scruffy and unkempt he is fat and fluffy and seems to be in good health.

Yay! That's pretty crazy that he remembered after all those months to come back. Off on an adventure, perhaps?
Oh, that's so cool that he came home! Out tom-cattin' around.
My old neighbour had a tom who visited for a few months of the year then moved on to someone else. Maybe that's what he's been up to. Glad he's back - he looks so well.
