Memphis (with pictures)

birthday 'Gifts' from Mr.J
I got to pick them out.
review for the black and white yarn.
You'll see why I couldn't put it down after I picked it up!

Knitting Experiment (pouch) shown
Another one on the needles in Cotton Twist

Let me know if you recognize this
I have a 'photographic' memory and maybe
this is out of a book I flipped through this weekend?
Otherwise, I've written the pattern down now from the second try.

Punchinello statue at 'Theatre Memphis'
entire sculpture garden at Theatre Memphis (my pics)

You got some very fun stuff! I love taking pictures of sculpture, too.

Hmm, that looks like a bag from Last-Minute Knitted Gifts - is that the book you looked through? Amazing memory if so...

cute stuff... that bag looks like the one from the new Mason Dixion knitting book, it was in with the wash cloths.

I love the little pouch! It does look a little bit like the bag from "Last Minute Knitted Gifts". It's still cute as hell!

That statue is cool.

I thought the MDK book too, but as a washcloth. Maybe it's one of those patterns that everyone (who can) invents?

Did Newt come home yet?

I think Stefanie might be right - I looked over MDK hard, to see if I could bring myself to buy it, but after J ran wild at the numismatist show - I let my conservative voice say 'That is 30.00 worth of YARN... you want 30.00 worth of yarn, right?'

I didn't see LM Knitted Gifts there, did browse Yarniverse's store-only copy of One Skein - cool book too!
