Sinus ramblings

I'll try not to ramble too much, but I am having a sinus nightmare right now. I've been cleaning, and it has me sneezing right and left.

Our new neighbor stopped by to use our phone last night. She wanted to order a pizza. We've been using our front room for storage, so I was too embarassed to let her in - plus, she was scared to death when she saw we had cats. So, we ordered it for her via relay (our phone doesn't reach into that room, either). She thought Willow was a 'big mean cat' - but really I was surprised Willow didn't run away when we opened the door. Willow usually is scared of strangers!

Rox and Rhiannon have volunteered to be owl knitters :o) Thanks!

Squint has his certificate of health needed to fly! He is still less than 2 lbs, but I think he fell behind back when he was using most of his energy just to heal and stay alive. He looks like he is growing - but there was a younger kitten at our office yesterday that was bigger than him! Squint had a good time wrestling the other kitten though. Maybe I can get pictures of them next week.

    While Cleaning I discovered:
  • a quilt top that is nearly finished
  • my 1940s sweater books from Ebay
  • a gazillion cat toys
  • that our front room still has a floor between all the boxes. It's green!
  • I can sneeze hard enough to scare the cats one room away
Have a good day - it seems to be a busy one out in blogland ;o)

Awwww! Poor you! I used to have terrible allergy attacks but have somehow outgrown it or something. It's exhausting to sneeze that much! Hope you are feeling better!

I'm retarded...what are owl knitters?

Sneezy and Sleepy? Where's Doc? Oh, I crack myself up.

I hate when people are afraid of cats. Sheba was a little grumpy, but what's the worst she was going to do? Scratch 'em, and she was an indoor cat with all her shots. She was probably in better health than they were.

Hope you're feeling better soon. Isn't it weird when people are afraid of kitties?

How on earth can you not like Willow - she is beautiful?! Some people are very strange. I know what you mean by not letting people in your front room!

Hope you are feeling better!

How could anyone be scared of Willow?

Thanks everyone - and I agree, Willow is so non-threatening! She is big (15 lbs now), but this is the same ccat that hid in the cupboard with the dishes when the landlord came in January!

When the lady was at the door, Willow was at my feet doing her cute 'what's going on' chirping, which I can't see as being threatening eitheer!
